Alliances that help to continue promoting stories of improvement!
FUDELA attended the closing event of the “Female DNA” program organized by Grupo Entregas, Fundación Telefónica Movistar Ec, Junior Achievement Ecuador, the Ecuadorian-British Chamber and the Quito Chamber of Commerce. The program fulfilled its role of being a business accelerator aimed at women entrepreneurs in vulnerable situations and in human mobility. For FUDELA it was pleasant to live great stories of entrepreneurship and improvement together with the finalists who came from different cities of Ecuador.
María Paulina Romo, President of Grupo Entregas, points out: “The program has been a space that seeks to help entrepreneurs in this step towards digital transformation. My recommendation is that women should take the step to undertake and not stop fighting and looking for their dreams. We, through this, visualize ourselves as companions that allow them to connect entrepreneurs with their purposes”.
Verónica Escobar, Executive President of FUDELA, attended the event who shares the mission of the program to continue promoting the capacities of people and groups in human mobility or in conditions of vulnerability in the different socioeconomic inclusion projects that our foundation maintains.
The winners received seed capital that will allow them to strengthen their business ideas. In the Human Mobility category, the winner was Sorelys Henríquez with her venture Gubis Shape. In the Vulnerability Situation category, we congratulate María Augusta Rosero with her venture Maranto Alimentos. For her part, Bertha Ponce, with her venture Finca Canela – Extraction of essential oils from Amazonian cinnamon, won 2nd place in the category.
