Description:
In this 3rd edition we will enjoy the valued participation of BID (the Inter-American Development Bank), the World Energy Council, the British Embassy, the Minister for Energy and the support of the University of Edinburgh (global top 5 for energy management and sustainability).
This space aims to encourage collaboration within the energy sector (petrol, gas, mining, electricity, renewables, future energies), advancing the acceleration of decarbonisation and exploring its influence in other industries (banking, transport, agriculture, health, construction, manufacturing and infrastructure). Likewise, it seeks to identify opportunities that arise upon the driving of investment in clean energy.
It will also be supported by the esteemed participation of national as well as British experts, from both the public and private sector, who will discuss challenges, trends and advances within energy transition, generating a positive impact in the reduction of carbon footprint, guaranteeing energy security, and promoting business competitivity and economic sustainability.
The forum will be designed for small, medium and large national and multinational businesses in Ecuador who are looking to identify advancements, better practices, challenges and opportunities in the energy sector.
Topics to be discussed:
- Transition strategies and energy security in Ecuador, a success story: United Kingdom
- The road to sustainable decarbonization
